To do & see
Shopping
We are within walking distance of both shopping areas in Nicosia. One is on Ledra street by Laiki Yitonia, and the other one Makarios Avenue is one minute walking from the hotel. Stasikratous street has most of the biggest brands you can find in the city. You will also find plenty of restaurants and cafes in these areas.
Chrysaliniotissa area
Near the Famagusta Gate and built in 1463 by the greek origin Lusignan Queen Eleni Paleologina. Following the signs near the church you will find the Chrysaliniotissa Crafts Centre. Numerous taverns and bars are also to be found near this area.
Archiepiskopos Kyprianos Square
The square where monuments and buildings of historical and religious interest abound.
Laiki Yitonia (Folk Neighborhood)
Restored pedestrian area within the walled city, east of Eleftheria Square. Charming winding alleys with traditional houses and shops, restaurants, galleries, all lovingly restored as typical examples of Cypriot urban architecture of a bygone, more graceful age.
